About Us - Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in us the fire of your love, Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created, and you will renew the face of the earth. Amen

The World Apostolate of Fatima is an International lay organization that is dedicated to the promotion of the message of Our Lady of Fatima. It is a lay organization which enjoys juridical standing in the Church.

We are one of the local Diocesan divisions in St. Paul and Minneapolis Minnesota, and we represent one of many divisions throughout the world.

When our Holy Father announced the Year of the Rosary in October of 2002, we made a request to our Archbishop Harry Flynn, to do something in the Archdiocese to honor the closing of this year.

We were directed to work with the Archdiocesan Office of Family, Laity, Youth and Young Adults to organize an event in honor of the Most Holy Rosary, for the good of children and families.

We decided on two events:

Children's Holy Fieldtrips
and
Candlelight Rosary Processions

Due to the great success of that day, an invitation has been extended to the world to help establish October 7 ~ Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary – as a day of worldwide prayer for the Renewal of Family Life & the Respect for all Life (in preparation for October 2004-October 2005 Year of the Eucharist.)

Our goal is a simple invitation to prayer. The invitation is primarily to unite children praying the Rosary throughout the world. Our Holy Father has entrusted families and their problems to children, and our goal is to help them realize their mission.
They must know God loves them, that there is hope. Throughout history many victories have been won in the world by means of the united prayer of the Most Holy Rosary.

If we work and pray together, possibly the renewal of family life and a new found respect for all life issues will be one of those victories that will go down in history as well.

The mission of the Archdiocesan Office of Family, Laity, Youth and Young Adults stands on its own. Please visit them at www.archspm.org/family.
